Micah E. Burpo-CEO and Executive Director

Micah Burpo has been the CEO and Executive Director of So-Cal Juniors VBC since he took leadership of the club in 2007 from previous Club Director Bob Crowell. Crowell became the owner of the Team Specifit VBC in Downey, CA from 1997-2006. Previously he coached with Hall of Famer Mollie Kavanagh at Asics Tiger VBC from 1984-1996. From its beginning in 2007 with just two team, Micah has grown the club to 25 teams and 300+ athletes. Micah is the current Assistant Coach for the Cypress College Women's Volleyball Team.

Micah currently lives in Downey, CA and runs his business in Cypress, CA. Micah has been married for 14-years to his wife Jennifer Burpo who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach. They have two Daughters together. Micah enjoys directing the Volleyball Club to be a better experience for the families and athletes each year, Sitting as an active board member for A Quarter Blue, spending time and traveling with his Family, Collecting Cars and his Faith in God. Micah has been a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Downey Since 1980.

10/12/2015 - What a busy summer and tryout season we have had. I am excited to get under-way with the 2015-16 season. Don't forget about the season kick-ff party on November 21st!!!

10/28/2014 - We are excited to start the 2014-15 season. With numerous exciting changes for So-Cal Juniors VBC we know it will be a great season for all. So-Cal Juniors VBC is utilizing a new Training Facility and Corporate Office in Cypress, CA that will be open in late November. Please look for information coming about our Grand Opening Event.
